Henry VIII was a formidable figure in English history whose
actions led to significant changes in English society. Why, then, is
he best known for his numerous wives? Perhaps it has to do with his
obsession with having a male heir, which led to his first divorce
and, ultimately, a break with the Catholic Church. Or maybe it's
because those six women were, each in their own way, extraordinary.
Such is the viewpoint of a new PBS
documentary series beginning July 16. Check your local listings

This indeed is interesting. I wonder why some people pretend to be holy than others when actually history proves otherwise. Today, we have people accuse the Zulu culture for women disregard when we marry “isithembu” while their history is filled with the neglect which their cultures had created which more disregard for the welfare of the womanfolk
Henry VIII is just such an example
