It appears the date of death and burial place of Lisa Gherardini, believed to have been the subject of The Mona Lisa, has been found. Also, high-resolution images from Leonardo's Codex Leiceister are now available for students to examine online. And Leonardo's Annunciation has (gasp!) left Italy, for the time being.
