Medieval Ukrainian Archive in Jeopardy

The most ancient in Ukraine, the Lviv State Archive, is undergoing much-needed preservation and restoration, thanks to the R’fa’aye-nu Society in cooperation with the US-Ukraine Foundation, with major funding from the United States Agency for International Development. The archive, located on Bernardynskiy Monastery grounds, contains documents dating back to the 12th century.
