Thursday April 19, 2007
The most ancient in Ukraine, the Lviv State Archive, is undergoing much-needed preservation and restoration, thanks to the R’fa’aye-nu Society in cooperation with the US-Ukraine Foundation, with major funding from the United States Agency for International Development. The archive, located on Bernardynskiy Monastery grounds, contains documents dating back to the 12th century. Find out what is being done to preserve these priceless texts in the article by Maria Aksyonova at the Kyiv Post.
