Wednesday August 22, 2007
In 2004, an Austrian woman discovered a crucifix in a trash bin in the town of Zell am See. Recently, a neighbor brought it to a museum in the village of Leogang and learned that the cross could date as far back as 1200 C.E., and may be worth a half a million dollars. Find out more about this discovery in the article by Veronika Oleksyn at the Independent.
