Melissa, this is a marvelous review-eloquent,and intriguing. And what a marvelous book. You have really spiked my until now dormant interest in the Medieval world. I really like the edges of it, particularly the far edges where the period sort of turns toward the Renaissance. I enjoy tracing the threads of Medieval ideas as they work their way through time , right up to the present.
Thanks for the kind words, publicreader! I’m glad your interest in the Medieval era is whetted. I hope you continue to find interesting info at this site.
Thank you for suggestion to buy Medieval Miscellany. What a gorgeous book and very reasonable priced. A true labor of love and beautiful.
