August

Friday August 1, 2008
Here in 21st-century Central Texas, we're enduring one of the longest streaks of 100° temperatures in recorded history -- and it ain't over yet. Of course, the activity does seem to be more suited to the laborers in the fields; the richly-dressed nobles found more genteel pursuits, as you can see in this detail.
