Some 15th-century buildings in Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, are in danger due to neglect. The necessary funds for restoration are lacking, and structures like a mosque and the main gate to the ancient capital are deteriorating. Manpower is limited, as well. There are illegally placed houses and other buildings blocking the way to some of these edifices, but as yet nothing has been done to remove them.
