Brechin dig reveals medieval artifacts
Professional and amateur archaeologists have been taking part in a community dig at Bishop’s Close, Brechin, Scotland. After uncovering the foundations of 18th- and 19th-century buildings, they began finding artifacts from the Middle Ages. Medieval garden soil, pottery and coins have been uncovered thus far.
