The project to find the gravesite of Richard III has seen some remarkably good fortune, finding the church the team sought in a matter of days, and uncovering a grave in a few short weeks. Now it seems that fortune was with them much earlier, when the Victorians who built on top of the site missed the head of the skeleton by mere inches.
