The Best of 2012

By December 26, 2012

Last year, I provided a list of the 10 most popular subjects at the medieval history site throughout 2011. As 2012 began to draw to a close, I thought it would be interesting to compare this year's popular topics to last year's. I was rather surprised to discover that virtually nothing has changed. The same 10 subjects that were popular in 2011 are also just as popular in 2012 -- albeit in a slightly different order.

However, the same cannot be said for our Who's Who resource. Not only has the order of the 10 most popular individuals changed, but four of this year's top ten weren't in last year's Best of Who's Who list. Among the newcomers is a woman -- an encouraging development, since last year no women even came close to the top ten.

So this year's "Top Ten" subjects for 2012 is a simple update (be sure to visit last year's Top Ten Subjects list first). And I've added a list of the most popular glossary terms to give you something else to chew on.
