This week there are just a few little newsworthy pieces for your consideration.
- Medieval Tomb Discovered Under Tartu Cathedral
The tomb must have held someone important to the church, and it's been there since before 1588 -- at the latest. Item at ERR news.
- North Yorkshire Viking hoard is 'nationally important'
The hoard has not yet been declared treasure, but it probably will be, as it dates to the 8th or 9th century and includes gold and silver jewelry. Meanwhile, the find is being conserved at the British Museum. Article at BBC News.
- Pre-Viking tunic found near glacier
This is a tad early to truly be considered medieval, but the find is so startling I thought you'd forgive me sliding from the time period. Feature at the Times of Malta.
