A different castle is featured every day of the year here at the Medieval History site. Journey into the past by exploring these quintessential medieval buildings.
Today's featured castle is:
Vilandry
Although most of this castle dates to the sixteenth century, the medieval tower where King Phillip Augustus of France and King Henry Plantaganet of England met in 1189 still stands. Some nice photos at the Castles of the World website.
