We've Got a New Look

If you've been to our site in the last week I'm sure you couldn't help but notice the new design. Everyone at About.com is excited about this improved interface. Some of the changes that we think will make your experience at About.com more productive:

  • A more focused "Spotlight" on the front page. Look here for the freshest content, updated frequently.

  • New "Essentials" section. On our front page, a place to find some of the most helpful portions of our site.

  • A list of "Subjects" down the left-hand side of every page. This is our directory to useful information, both on the web and at About.com. At the Medieval History site, the directory has been reorganized so there are fewer top-level pages, and all of them are accessible through the Subjects menu.

Find out more about our new look.

A new page has been added to our index of Armor & Weaponry:

Armor & Weaponry can be found through Knights & Armor and Military History, both of which are in our Subjects menu.
