The Battle of Hastings may be the most significant battle in English history, and the Conquest that followed it had a serious impact on the development of English society. You've probably heard of 1066, Saxons, Normans, and William the Conqueror. But what do you really know about the Norman Conquest?
Here's your chance to test your knowledge. I've devised a quiz with 25 questions pertaining to the Battle of Hastings, events surrounding the conquest, and the people involved.
But this quiz is a little tricky. If you miss one question, you'll have to start the quiz all over again. The questions get a little harder (and a little more obscure) as you go along, so you may find the quiz to be quite a challenge! If you finish the quiz, your name will appear here at the site next time in our list of Conquerors.
