Post to the Medieval History Forum

Currently, sheer volume prohibits me from personally responding to all email as quickly as I'd like. So if you have a historical question that isn't answered above, please post it in our forum. Our board, which I try to check daily, is visited by some very knowledgeable folks who enjoy sharing what they know about medieval history. Post your questions or comments to get the benefit of their varying backgrounds and experience.

If you're a student, please read our message for students first. And be sure to check the questions that have already been asked and answered before posting one of your own. It could save you a lot of time!

Email Your Guide

Yes, the Medieval History Guide is a real human being! Her name is Melissa Snell, and you can email her at historymedren.guide@about.com. Please hail her by her name ("Dear Ms. Snell" or even "Hi Melissa" will do), and please sign your own name so she knows how to hail you in return.

And please be polite. She's a cranky old thing and is liable to dump your message in the trash if you are rude.

As noted above, sheer volume makes it impossible to answer every email received. So please be sure to post any historical questions to the forum, and don't forget to search the site or check our directory for the information you seek. It could save you a lot of time!

Also, please include a pertinent topic in the subject line. I receive dozens of pieces of spam daily with either nothing in the subject field or vague, misleading subject lines. If yours is one such email, it may get deleted without even being read.

Thank you for your consideration, and thanks for visiting the Medieval History site!
