Guide Review - Daily Life in Medieval Times by Joseph & Frances Gies

Life Times Three

All three of the Gieses' books on Medieval Daily Life (Castle, City and Village) were released in this oversized volume in 1999. Although numerous full-color photos, illuminations, maps and other graphics were added, it contains no new text. It's pretty enough and large enough to serve as a coffee-table book, yet it's also packed with details on life in the Middle Ages.

Worthwhile and worth the price, especially if you haven't bought the individual books yet.
