Time Trip Survey

Dateline: 06/20/99

(continued from page one)

There are only a few questions I'd like you to answer when you respond to the survey. You are, of course, most welcome to expand on your responses as much as you like.

  1. Approximately what date will you go back to?
  2. How will you spend your two weeks?
  3. Will you use the cloaking device? If so, how?

You may also wish to tell us if you'll take anything from the future back with you, whether you'll tell anyone you're from the future -- and if you'll try to change history.

There are three ways to participate in the Time Trip Survey: on our forum, on the survey page, or via email. I would prefer that you use the forum: your answers will show up immediately for other visitors to read. But if you prefer an alternate method, that's fine; I look forward to reading your response.

The answers I collect from the survey page and email will be posted at this site. Whenever more responses are added, I will notify the subscribers to our free Knightly Newsletter. If you'd like to subscribe, please sign up at the subscription page.

Only the answers from consenting respondents will be posted here! In other words, if you'd like to contribute to the survey, but you don't want your words on the web, you can respond via email or the survey page and tell me not to post your answer. Please note that if you respond via email without expressly stating not to post your response, your response will be posted.

Using the Forum

If you have not already become an About.com member, you'll need to join before you can post -- but membership is free! I hope you'll choose to become a member of the Medieval History site. Once you join any of our sites (and you may join more than one), you can post to any About.com forum.

Tell us what you would do on your vacation in history by responding to the post, "Time Trip." If you would like to respond to a reply that's already been made, by all means do so; but please do not flame someone for their choice, and please refrain from using foul language. Rude or obnoxious posts will be deleted as soon as I see them.

To view the responses that have been made so far without posting yourself, click "enter as Guest" at the forum log-in page.

Using the Survey Page

If for any reason you'd rather not post in our forum, check out our survey page, which contains all the information you need to respond. The survey page uses CGI script; if your browser cannot handle forms, please use email to send me your response.

Responding Via Email

You can use this link to email me your response right now. Please answer the three main questions, elaborate as much as you like, and include your name as you would like it to appear here. If you do not include a name in the body of the message, I'll assume you do not want your answer to be posted. If you do include a name, I will post your response at the site unless you expressly ask me not to.

If your email program does not interface with your browser, please email me at historymedren.guide@about.com and put "Time Trip" in the subject line.
