The Hours of the Virgin concludes with an image of the Annunciation, in which an angel announces to the Virgin Mary that God has chosen her to be the mother of his son. Note the figure of God in the upper left corner, and the heraldic arms of the Duc de Berry, supported by bears and swans, in the lower center.
